Jeff Sanders, PE
The Civil Company was a single member civil engineering firm founded by Jeff Sanders, PE. Jeff was a North Carolina native, growing up in the foothills of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. He was an alumni of Auburn University and Freed Hardemen University with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Science. Over the years he worked for architectural and engineering firms. Licensed in North Carolina and Tennessee with experience all across North Carolina. He spent several years as a project engineer in Asheville working on a range of projects from residential subdivisions to commercial hotels and apartment complexes. He opened The Civil Company and moved to his favorite spot on “The Land” in Wilkesboro where he enjoyed working on numerous projects, big and small.
Jeff passed away in February 2025 from cancer. His family wishes to send a special “Thank You” to all those who worked with Jeff over the years. He loved being an engineer and helping you to achieve your project’s vision.
